Inside

A warm welcome to your latest magazine!I hope you will find this issue an excitingmix of perspectives and stories from around the Union. As you will see from the cover, I have been talking to Minister Lynette Coulston about her role in “Symphony of Us,” a ground-breaking production staged in Coventry Cathedral. I can only imagine how exciting it was to see her in action as the face and voice of Spiritualism in front of an audience that knew little or nothing of our religion. She reminds us of all our role in embodying Spiritualism.

We hear from some of our members who are published writers, and find encouragement to pick up the pen (or keyboard!) and invite inspiration to step forward. As a movement, it’s important that we continue to add to the body of work about Spiritualism, and ensure that we have a record of how the religion responds to changing times. You’ll also see the winning entry to the environment art competition, an example of an issue we all need to urgently respond to.

We take a look at the lives of some important Pioneers ahead of Black History Month. It’s essential that we actively value the contributions of Spiritualists from all backgrounds to create a pulse of inclusivity that says loudly and clearly “there is a place for everyone here!”
