About Spiritualism The Pioneer Journal The Pioneer journal is a unique insight into the history of the Spiritualists’ National Union and its pioneers. Created using original researched material all articles and quotes where possible are taken from original sources as published at the time. These online journals will be especially beneficial to those studying for SNU courses, a great way to become more acquainted with the Spiritualists’ National Union and its long history and workers. All editions of the Pioneer journal are free and individually compiled and researched by Paul J. Gaunt. Paul is the curator and librarian of the Britten Museum & Library located in the Arthur Findlay College. The museum is home to thousands of original documents and historical artifacts associated with Spiritualism and psychic science, a very popular attraction when visiting the college. Important Subjects s Psypioneer - Electronic Journal Archive Psypioneer, was an electronic journal focused on the early period of Modern Spiritualism. Psypioneer operated continuously from 2004 until December of 2016. Upon its termination the back catalog was archived at IAPSOP for historical value. Paul Gaunt was editor of the Psypioneer from July 2005 until Dec 2016, the historic back issues are now available for you to view online.
