Last week, we announced the exciting 'Bringing Science into Spiritualism' update day from the SNU Science Group, that shall be taking place on Saturday 9th March 2024 at the Barbanell Centre. After lots of feedback and interest, we're excited to today announce some exciting updates about this special event...

The Science Working Party – ‘Arthur’s Vision’ - are pleased to announce that the Spiritualists’ National Union (SNU) has generously offered to subsidise the Bringing Science into Spiritualism day. It will now cost just £10 per head (including lunch!), instead of the previously announced price of £30.

We're also pleased to confirm that the day will now also be open to both members and non-members of the Union.

The morning session will be an SNU update from the Science Working Party, who are committed to supporting Churches and individual members, a set of guidelines is being prepared to conduct experiments and data collection. There will be an update on the science web page for future communications. The science working party will update you on the collaborations with other international organisations, along with their commitment to bring science into Spiritualism from the ground up. There is planning for bigger research projects, an insight will be given.

After this, and time and numbers dependant, the afternoon will include some simple practical experiments.

Spaces are being booked already, so if this topic interests you, please contact the Barbanell Centre using the details on the poster (and repeated below).

There is also limited accommodation at a very reasonable price for those travelling further afield.
