Minister David Bruton was honoured to represent The Spiritualists National Union at a ceremony to dedicate the national memorial to British victims of overseas terrorism at The National Memorial Arboretum.

The service was conducted by The Arch Bishop of Canterbury in the presence of The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall. A moving and poignant service with members of some victims families taking part. The memorial was organised by Tobias Ellwood Minister for Defence on behalf of the government and Boris Johnson, Sajid Javid and Jeremy Corbin were also in attendance together with many victims families and other dignitaries . It was a great pleasure to be introduced to Prince Charles, the royal couple spent a long time meeting with and speaking to guests. I met the Prince as one of the representatives of faith groups present joining with representatives from the Muslim, Hindu, Unitarian and C of E faiths. A memorable day for all concerned.
