This event has now been postponed.

It is with great regret that we have taken the decision to cancel our annual Peace Walk at the National Memorial Arboretum for 2020; this is particularly sad because this was to be the tenth anniversary of the dedication of our Memorial and we had many plans for a very special occasion. We have, of course, to make the well-being and safety of our membership paramount at this time. The NEC would like to pay tribute and give grateful thanks to Keith Parsons and his working party, who have worked so hard to plan this year’s event. We would also like to thank all of the districts and Churches who have planned coaches to support the day. We are confident the event will continue next year and we promise we will pull out all of the stops to create a day to remember for everyone who wishes to take part.

We are sad to make this decision, but to ensure everyone's safety and prevent unnecessary planning or organisation of transport etc. this felt like the most sensible course of action.

We look forward to seeing you next year under better circumstances.

If you were thinking of attending, you can still take a virtual look at the extensive grounds and facilities of the National Memorial Arboretum by visiting the NMA website. You can also learn more about our memorial obelisk in the YouTube video below...
