Education within the SNU
The SNU has a wide range of education courses available to members of the public and its membership. Courses aim to improve both theoretical and practical knowledge for mediums, speakers, healers, lecturers, writers and administrators. SNU members may take a combinations of courses and assessments that lead to accreditation or the award of certificates and diplomas.Studies can be by individual postal tuition, by study group, or speed week/weekends. Costs are kept to a minimum as all our tutors, examiners and course organisers give their services voluntarily. Education courses are organised are run by the Education Committee. Students go at their own pace and, if they wish, may sit written examinations. For members of the Union, examination passes may be used to make application, to the Training & Awards Committee, for one of the SNU awards,
A good introduction to SNU education is our course entitled 'Basic Introduction to Spiritualism'. This course should prove to be the start of a rewarding spiritual journey of learning and encourage you to delve a little deeper into the fascinating subjects of Spiritualism. This course is either an email or post correspondence course with guidance notes provided and tutor marking of assignments and costs just £12.
