Spirit of Youth (SOY) is a sub-committee of the SNU and reports directly to the National Executive Committee. SOY objectives are:-
  • Promote modern day Spiritualism where both young and old can feel a unity and blending.
  • Incorporate new ideas and forward thinking to help move Spiritualism forward into the 21st Century.
  • Promote the idea that the spirit is forever youthful, no matter how long we have lived here on earth.
  • Support people who are trying to find new and groundbreaking ways to present Spiritualism.
  • Provide encouragement and advice to people who have ideas and inspiration in Spiritualist matters.
  • Help to keep Spiritualism moving forward.

SOY aims to show people that Spiritualism can enhance and enrich their lives

SOY encourages younger people to take a more active role within the SNU. The committee aims to raise awareness of the Union's education system. The committee encourages friendships between Spiritualists both young and old through social activities and by building a network of contacts and support for each other.
