Fraudulent Mediums Act The announcement by Government that the Fraudulent Mediums Act is to be repealed has raised concern within the Spiritualist movement. Psychics and clairvoyants will become the subject of control by consumer law. If an individual supplies services for money or money's worth and the consumer deems those services to be "defective" then the consumer has a legal right to seek compensation and damages. The SNU has produced disclaimer notices for use by its member churches to help them comply with consumer protection law. |
