Church Membership - Induction Course

The SNU's 'Rules For Churches' state that all new Full-Members of churches must have taken part in the SNU's induction course. There is no written work, participants should attend lectures given by knowledgeable church personnel and there should be opportunity for questions and answers. Below is an Induction Course syllabus produced by the SNU Education committee.

Advice for Committees:
The induction course may be run weekly or on dates set by the Church. Each topic should be explained by a Church member who is knowledgeable in that subject matter. Each topic should be limited about one and a half hours, giving time for the lecture, discussion, questions and debate. If preferred the course could be run over one, or two full days.

Churches, lecturers, and perhaps course participants, will find it helpful to obtain a copy of the course notes for 'B1 Basic Spiritualism' education course notes, These notes cover all aspects of the induction course syllabus. To mark the completion of the induction course members could be presented with a letter of completion or their names displayed on a church notice board.
