Becoming a Member of the SNU

The SNU invites Spiritualists to join in its aims to help bring Spiritualism, as based on the Seven Principles, to the awareness of millions of people. Working together the SNU has gained legal recognition for Spiritualism and helped to turn spirit communication away from an illegal activity into one acceptable in the eyes of the law. Day by day Spiritualism and spirit communication is helping to remove the fear of death and opening up new understanding to the people. But there is still much work to do. |
We ask you to formally join the SNU,
Spiritualist National Union. By becoming a 'class B' member of the SNU you can help Spiritualism to bring greater knowledge of spirit and spiritual understanding to the world. |
Benefits Of Class B Membership
Class B Memberships of the SNU receive newsletters, information circulations and a copy of the SNU Diary. They have access to a wide range of advice, information and assistance on Spiritualist matters. They can participate in the organisation of the SNU at local and national level by attending meetings, raising matters of concern, suggest improvements and way forward and vote in elections. Members receive discounts for studying within our educational scheme and for staying at our residential college. And, and there is a satisfaction of belonging to a national organisation of people devoted to a common purpose.
Requirements For UK Class B Membership
A UK application for SNU Class B membership must be sponsored by two
people who are existing Class B members, and one of your sponsors must have been a Class B member for at least three
years and live in the district council area of the applicant. To join as a
class B member you must be able to agree and accept our Seven Principles
:-
1. The Fatherhood of God.
2. The Brotherhood of Man.
3. The Communion of Spirits and the Ministry of Angels.
4. The Continuous Existence of the Human Soul.
5. Personal Responsibility.
6. Compensation and retribution hereafter for all the good and evil deeds
done on earth.
7. Eternal progress open to every human soul.
UK Application Form
A Class B Application form for people living in the UK can be
downloaded,
in pdf format, or you can request that it be sent to you. The
form should be returned to the address below along with the £10 joining
fee and first years membership fee of £24.

Requirements For Overseas Class B Membership
An application for SNU Class B membership, from someone living outside of
the UK, must be sponsored by two people who are of standing in the
community, for example, a doctor, teacher or a policeman. The sponsors
should accept principles that do not conflict with the SNU's Seven Principles
and the person applying for membership must be able to agree and accept
our Seven Principles :-
1. The Fatherhood of God.
2. The Brotherhood of Man.
3. The Communion of Spirits and the Ministry of Angels.
4. The Continuous Existence of the Human Soul.
5. Personal Responsibility.
6. Compensation and retribution hereafter for all the good and evil deeds
done on earth.
7. Eternal progress open to every human soul.

along with the £15 joining fee and first years membership fee of £24.
